At the age of 31, Taylor has exceeded all expectations for her career. Tim McGraw was her first single. The song stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 20 weeks and also reached No. 6 on the Hot Country Songs Chart. Taylor now has 9 albums along with 6 deluxe albums, and 2 live albums. Her most streamed song on Spotify is Willow with 150,461,712 streams. July 1, 2019 Pitchfork, a music blog platform wrote a post regarding Taylor Swift’s music ownership controversy. Her first 6 albums were sold by her former label, Big Machine Label Group, to music manager Scooter Braun. The reasoning behind Taylor not owning her own master recordings is because after she had released her first six records through her first label, Big Machine, they sold the masters over to Scooter Braun. Taylor Swift decided to re-record each song off of the albums: Fearless, Taylor Swift, 1989, Red, and Speak Now. Fearless will be coming out April 9, 2021.
